I had Dempster Plumbing do a full home copper re-pipe from the curb and install a tankless water heater. I can't say enough good things about Bill and his crew. Bill and his crew were very professional, promptly arriving each morning and kept me updated on the progress of the job. I had complete running water in the evening and it was as if they weren't there because of how they kept everything so clean. It was great discussing the project with Bill because he was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about everything, you can definitely tell that he loves what he does. I would highly recommend Dempter Plumbing to anyone that I know and I plan to ask him to come back in the next few years to replace our sewer system. Thank you, Dempster Plumbing.
I called Bill for a leak. He said all the pipes were ready to go and we needed a re-pipe (the house had old galvanized pipes). Before I hired him, I got estimates from other plumbers. They confirmed his assessment, but he was much more thorough than the others. Then I called many of his references (I found Bill through Yelp). All of his references gave glowing reviews. Several were property managers, so they've worked with him on multiple jobs throughout the years. When you find a good contractor, hang on tight'; they're difficult to come by. Bill and his team are these rare gems. They take pride in their work, their prices are excellent, and the whole process of working with them has been a pleasure. I can't recommend Dempster Plumbing highly enough. I'll definitely have Bill do any plumbing and bathroom remodel work in our next house. Work performed: full re-pipe, retile of two bathrooms: floor and shower & tub/shower. Oh, and they fixed our front door and tightened a loose faucet while they were here--free of charge.
I found Dempster Plumbing here at Yelp and due to the many good reviews here and elsewhere we decided to call them. We had a need to lower our gas line behind the stove. They were real professionals and patiently handled our concerns. Bill was able to explain the job to our satisfaction and stood by his work. Contacted Bill based on previous YELP reviews and he gave me a quote over the phone. He showed up on time the next morning and after reviewing the job reduced his quote since it was easier than he had expected. Bill was very efficient and professional and completed the job on the first appointment. I would definately use him again.
High quality plumbing work, with no messing around. Simply put, Bill is an expert, at the top of his game, and just plain gets on it. We're particulalry happy with the copper repipe on our old bungalow. Another contractor had to be removed from the job after getting only halfway after 6 days. I originally called Bill when the feed line to my hot water heater popped off in the middle of the night. He came the next day and quickly replaced both the input and output lines for a fair price. He also thought to check why the original line came undone and sure enough found that the water pressure in the house was way too high (around 100psi). He tried to adjust the existing pressure regulator, but it was shot. He then came back and installed a new regulator - all done quickly, correctly, and for a good price. When it was time to replace the main water line from the street to the house, the first person I called was Bill. Again, hey gave a good price to install 110 feet of 1" main line to the house - on a hill where it all has to be hand dug. He saw that it was going to be complicated to replace the part of the old system that feed through to the interior of the house so he came up with a way that we could route the new line under a deck and into the crawlspace where it connected to the interior line. Saved me a lot of hassle and money on that. His crew did this fairly large job in less than two days - they were quick, remembered all the details of where I wanted the hose bibs and stub outs for the landscaper, and even dropped in an extra PVC conduit for me so it would be easier to run irrigation wires to the irrigation stub-outs. Another great part - he's been pretty booked so said he could get to me in about 10 days, which was fine. Called me two days later to say he found some time and could start that morning. Bottom line - quality work, good crew, good price, trustworthy, reliable service.
Looked up plumber in San Jose and saw the great reviews for Dempster plumbing. Needed to replace a trap primer in a high rise condo unit (8th floor) and I was able to communicate with them via e-mail regarding the requirement and the following day got a call and had a new trap primer re-installed in less than an hour. Pricing was honest and hard earned.
We used Dempster Plumbing several times before moving to NY. They were always fast and efficient and did not overcharge. I wish they were here in NY.
We discovered a water pipe leak at our house about a week before Christmas and was in need of immediate help to fix the slab leak. Due to the small size of the leak and the fact that we are on a concrete slab, the locator was unable to locate the leak and provided us a few options, the best of which was to do a full repipe through the attic (of course it was also the most expensive... ouch!!). We got a few quotes from different plumbers and decided to go with Dempster Plumbing after evaluating the price, work included, and when they could get the job done. Bill and his crew came and were able to finish the job in four days, just in time for Christmas! Bill had to work on another job, so he wasn't personally there to do the work (he did come and inspect to make sure things were done right during and at the end of the job), but Eddie and the other guys did a good job with the repiping and installing new shower heads, valves, etc. Dempster Plumbing even offered to put in new bath/kitchen faucets and sinks for us for free if we got them the parts in time, so we ended up also replacing our bath/kitchen facets and the kitchen sink (love our new kitchen sink!). Once all the repiping was done, the drywall guy, Vincente, came on the third day afternoon and started patching things up. He came back the next day with his son to finish the texturing of the drywalls and stayed til like 10pm to finish everything. Now everything is back to normal! Fast forward one month, we noticed problems with our sewer line (talk about bad luck!) and called Dempster Plumbing again. Bill and his son came out and tried to help unclog our sewer line outside the house just today, but it was not a simple job as originally thought. It turned out that we have a broken pipe on the city side, so we are working to get the city to fix it. :( Bill and his crew and the office lady Valerie have been very nice and helpful throughout all these problems we had at the house. I highly recommend Dempster Plumbing if you ever have any plumbing needs!

Bill and his crew were very professional and they completed the job in 2.5 days. The quality of the work done is excellent. The crew seemed very experienced and very hard working. The price asked for the job was very reasonable. I am highly satisfied and I strongly recommend Dempster.
Fine job for a fair price and fast service. One bathroom house. Replaced everything but the sheet rock. Would recommend them and use them again.

Had a bad sewage problem and contacted Dempster they came out gave me a quote and were the most reasonable offer i recieved.Completed the work in a timely manner and ive been able to breathe again literally in my house.I would and have recomended them to people I know.
